15-18 Story Hotel in Nepal
The Civil Department at RHIT accepts projects from people around the world for the Senior classes to work on for Senior Design. After the senior class ranks our idea projects the faculty decides what the groups are and what project we are assigned. My group was given a hotel in Nepal to design.
After reviewing the project and meeting with our client we understood the current vision for the Chitwan Hotel Project is a mixed-use 5-star hotel building with 15 to 18 stories and 150 guest rooms. The structure will include two levels of underground parking, a high-ceiling hotel foyer, varying-capacity event halls, retail stores, a restaurant, staff accommodations, a health and fitness area, a spa, a pool, and multiple levels of guest rooms. The client indicated that this building will be a new signature landmark for the region and a popular tourist attraction since it will be the tallest building in the area by over ten stories.
This is a current project so updates will be made as it continues
